found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.
Annabelle is a loving dog who likes spending time with her family, according to her owner. She is a black and tan female GSD, about 7 years old. Her owner took Annabelle in after her son was deployed. Since he is not returning to the US in the near future, he gave Annabelle to his parents permanently. However, Annabelle's owner is elderly and not in the best of health. Since she can't give Annabelle the attention and exercise she needs, we are helping rehome her. She can keep her temporarily.
Annabelle is loving to her family, but takes awhile to warm up to new people, like some GSDs do. She will bark at strangers entering the house. Annabelle's owners did talk with a trainer who said barking means she is more scared of strangers. She does not bark at strangers when outside the home. She has not been around kids, so an adults only home is best for her. She is good with other dogs and is living with them now. A home with a large male dog would probably be best for her, or she could be an only dog. We are not sure if she is good with cats, she has not lived with them.
Annabelle is up to date on vet care and spayed; her owner can provide vet records.
Annabelle would do best in a moderately active home where she can get regular exercise. She is over the puppy phase, so a few walks a day will be fine. She is housebroken, knows some basic commands, and can walk on a leash.
If you'd like to meet Annabelle, please contact her owner directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
GSDRGA has not met Annabelle, she is not our foster dog. We are guest listing her. Please contact her owner to ask questions, or set up a meeting.
