Chloe is a young girl who has had a rough start to life. Through it all she remains positive and upbeat! She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body…..LOVES everyone…..kids, adults, elderly, dogs and cats!
Her hind legs are paralyzed and she gets around by ‘dragging’ her body. After a lot of discussion with specialists, it was decided to amputate her rear legs since they were causing more harm than good and the doctors agreed she would never walk again.
Don’t let this fool you….she is still a very active dog! She runs and chases frisbees using her cart and most likely will out run any dog you know! She also plays chase with balls and can again run just as fast without her cart!
Chloe is in the process of having a special prosthetic device made….More to come on this!
An ideal day for her would be to enjoy all the things that a ‘normal’ dog would enjoy doing. Eat, sleep, play fetch, basket in the sun, enjoy campfires, wooded hikes, wrestle with a dog pal or snuggle up with a cat, etc. Besides chasing a frisbee and ball she loves a good game of tug-o-war.
