Gunner's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Gunner, and my family moved today and left me behind. I am 7 years old, neutered, and good with other dogs, kids, and cats, too. I was mainly an outside dog up until now....I've always heard other dogs talking about living inside with their people and would really like to give that a try! I promise to be a good boy and try really hard to please you. I sure don't act like a middle-aged doggie: if you tell me I'm a good boy, for instance, I will become very happy and do a little play-dance for you. I respond to my name and love being petted. I went to an adoption event today for the first time. Everyone loved me, and I loved the attention! I am 80 pounds of teddy bear...big dogs need love, too! So stop on in and see what I've got to offer you and your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Tyrone Boxer/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/St. Bernard for sale in Tyrone, or seeking a Boxer/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Tyrone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tyrone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tyrone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/St. Bernard breeders who help with Boxer/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tyrone paves the way for another one to be saved.
