Hi, there! My name is Lady, and it wasn't too long ago that I was at the shelter for the first time. That time I came in as a stray. Now I'm back because my family split up. I'm a 38 pound, 1 year old boxer mix and you'd have to meet me to believe how cute I really am! I get along with kids, other dogs and cats and am already housetrained, spayed, and up-to-date on my vaccines. I'm telling ya', I'm not going to be at the shelter long! I have so much going for me that the perfect family is going to step up really soon, I can just feel it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Tyrone Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Tyrone, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Tyrone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tyrone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tyrone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tyrone paves the way for another one to be saved.
