Hi, folks. My name's Phoenix. Well, at least that's what the shelter staff have named me. It's the same old story: dog is wandering around a stranger's yard, not wearing ID. Good samaritan brings dog to shelter and has no idea where the dog came from. Well, that's all about to change for me because the shelter microchips all of the dogs that come from here. So I will NEVER be untraceable again! I just got neutered and updated on my vaccinations, too. It's estimated that I'm about 2 years old. I'm about 65 pounds and have a tall, lanky build. I love meeting new friends, so stop by to see what a nice boy I am and how you could add me to your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoenix, a Tyrone German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Tyrone, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Tyrone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tyrone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tyrone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tyrone paves the way for another one to be saved.
