Skyy's Story...

Skyy is currently at the Huntingdon County Humane Society in Huntingdon, PA.

Hello, friends! My name is Skyy and I was recently picked up as a stray. I am a very sweet, 1 1/2 year old pit bull terrier mix and I currently weigh about 54 pounds. I think I have a lot to offer a new family. I prefer if I could be the only doggie in the home: that way, I won't have to share my stuff. I am spayed, updated on vaccines and microchipped. I will be anxiously waiting for your visit so we can talk 'adoption'!

Interested in adopting? Contact the Huntingdon County Humane Society directly at 814-643-7387 or hchspets@verizon.net.

Interested in fostering? Happy Paws Happy Homes provides all supplies, vetting and support for its foster dogs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Skyy, a Tyrone Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Tyrone, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Tyrone.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tyrone already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tyrone breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tyrone paves the way for another one to be saved.
