Gabby is even more beautiful in person. We don't know for sure her mix but we're guessing there's some terrier of sorts in there, maybe some collie, maybe some shepherd...we don't really know. What we can tell you is she is a love. She is delightful to hold. She's learning her leash skills. She's good with other dogs and cats. She's curious about leaves and bugs, the wind. We're looking for a home for her that has another dog. Due to Gabby's shyness, she will benefit greatly from the companionship of another canine in the house. It will give her a sense of security and provide her with a role model to follow. She'd love a family that has the time to take her on daily walks to continue her leash training and allow her the pleasure of exploring the outdoors. Her estimated date of birth is 2014 and her weight is around 27 lbs. If interested in Gabby, please email RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

About Smiling Dog Farms- NY chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. All dogs that are deemed adoptable are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and on heartworm prevention. Many of our dogs live in Wharton Texas, but we have very safe, reliable transport to the northeastern states.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
