My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Howdy! My name is PRANCER, and I'm a wonderful Pit Bull Terrier/ Boxer mix with a loving heart. I'm about five years old, and I came to the El Cajon Animal Shelter after I got lost and couldn't find my way home. I'm a gentle, well-mannered boy, while I still love to bound around the play yard, chasing after toys. I have kind, soft eyes that will melt your heart when you look into them, along with a handsome, healthy physique. I'm a smart dog, and I already know some commands. I'm a true gentleman. The volunteers say that I walk perfectly on the leash, too. If a family adopts me, I'd want to be in a home where the kids are older and bigger, as I do tend to get rambunctious when I play in the yard. Like most dogs, I'd want to go on a daily walk to help my body and my mind. A big dog like me would also need a yard in his new home. I've already been house trained, and I'd want to have a nice doggie bed in the house so I can spend time with my person or family. Also, I'd need to be the only dog in my new home. I know I'd be a great pet and a loving friend, so I hope you'll come visit me and give me a chance. Love, Prancer"
