Connie's Story...
Connie is just the sweetest dog with a wonderful disposition, a happy girl. She loves people and loves to be with them and does take good care of her person. In this case her person became unable to care for her and no family. Connie is 5 years old and spayed, a Hound mix, great on a leash, has very nice manners and is totally housebroken. She also loves kids - however, she doesn't like other dogs. But if you don't have another dog, and have kids - there ya go! Perfect!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Connie, a Reeds Spring Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Reeds Spring, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Reeds Spring.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reeds Spring already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reeds Spring breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reeds Spring paves the way for another one to be saved.
