My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

4/18/16: Meet Loqui and Cali, an adorable pair of bonded cats who are looking for a family to call their own! A very kind man rescued them from starvation after they were abandoned by their family and left to fend for themselves on the streets.

They are brother and sister, raised indoors with dogs. Both domestic shorthairs, Loqui is a male tuxedo and Cali is a female calico. They are a little over a year and each weighs slightly more than 12 lbs.
Lovable Loqui is long and lanky; laid back and easy going. You can hold him on his back like a baby. Cali is cuddly and soft but is more reserved. She warms up to people easily but doesn't like to be picked up. She will seek love and affection and wants to be nearby to be petted.

Of course, they love to play between naps and their playing is almost like ballet. It is so touching to see how they snuggle together and stretch out to touch when they sleep. They are seldom far apart. It would be best for them to have a home together. Please call Robin at 352-339-3352 if you can foster or adopt these sweet cats.

For an application please call our adoption coordinator, Robin, at 352-339-3352 for more information about our adoption process and our adoptable animals.

We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive.

All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
