Sriracha's Story...
Spice up your life with Sriracha! You’ll be so glad you did!

Sriracha is a cat with an amazing personality who may have not been dealt the best hand but she sure makes the most and best out of everything! She loves to play, she’s a feisty gal, loves to cuddle and can be chatty at times. She chases her toys around and meows at the toys as if she’s having a very important conversation with them. Don’t you want to hear what she has to say? She is very independent and while she does love it when someone pets her, when she’s done and ready to go relax, she’ll walk away. She will snore when she snoozes and even sleep with her tongue out. How cute is that? Sriracha doesn’t let her disability stop her so don’t let it stop you from bringing her home to make her a part of your family!!

Sriracha is blind but that doesn't affect her ability to get around and live a full life. Her foster even made an Instagram page so you can see how adorable she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sriracha, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
