Sharon's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sharon's Story...
Acquired as part of a trade in early February with another rescue group. Polydactyl - extra toes on front feet - but not on back feet. Quiet and non-intrusive personality but very sweet and, when not pushed out of the way by more demanding cats, loves quiet lap time and purrs readily and happily when pet, held, cuddled, and offered attention of any kind.
She was developing worsening gingival inflammation, threatening stomatitis, so she had all of her premolars and molars extracted (still has her canines). She has healed well, is eating kibble and canned happily still, and hopefully will now need no further dental care for many, many years to come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sharon, a Santa Rosa Polydactyl/Hemingway cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway cat from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
