Hi my name is Tonto! I am a very energetic male Akita Mix. My D.O.B. is 8/31/14. I was out running the roads and got picked up by animal control. I am going to request that I get a family with older kids, and that loves to get out and run and walk, and has a giant yard. I love to play with toys, and balls, and would love to play and sniff in a large area. I need work on some lead training and my manners, so they say. A patient owner would be great as well.

Meet-Your-Match Canineality color is: Green Go-Getter!!

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Our Adoption Process...

First step: Go to and fill out our short adoption survey! After we receive your survey, we will contact you to discuss our dogs and our process in more detail.

Our adoption process involves the family visiting Mackenzie's for at least two(2) separate "get-to-know-you" visits, followed by Mackenzie's staff making a Home Visit to the adopter's home before finalizing any adoption.

Please Note: We require a physical fenced in area for the safety of all our rescue dogs.
