“Hello!” from Sweet Annie. Annie is a 6 year old beautiful Shepherd Lab mix with a wonderful smile and personality, weighing 50 pounds. She will bond very well and be your best friend and protector. She has some very classic traits of both breeds. Annie is very active, she loves playing, fetch, tug, soccer, catch and just about anything else more with her people family than dog siblings. She loves the hose so watering the plants will be an entertaining adventure. She is also very light sensitive so she will chase shadows and light reflections. Annie has had a rough 6 months and has bounced around a little bit between homes. This has her a bit anxious and nervous around new people. She will need some TLC and patience in order to bond. She would prefer to accompany you on your endeavors and needs a little extra practice being home alone. Usually, something to keep her busy does the trick, but she may be noisy. She can be nervous in new situations but learns and adjusts quickly with positive reinforcement. Annie is incredibly smart and knows several tricks and loves learning more. She can be a little head strong and wants to be in charge so solid positive leadership is a must. Annie says she likes kids, but they can be a bit much at time, so she is asking for older children that can understand dogs. She also LOVES chasing cats. She more in it for the chase and we don’t think she would hurt one, however, a cat free home or a very dog savvy cat would be best. Annie, also would like to meet potential house mates, she’s looking for a calm, non-challenging friend as she likes to be in charge. Annie will challenge if she perceives an opportunity to be bossy but she respects a strong Alpha and will give up the challenge quickly. Her adoption fee is $150. About Must Love Dogs NW

About Our Rescue Group...

Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a not-for-profit organization that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process aims to match adoptable dogs with the best possible home to meet both the needs of the dog and the adopter. Therefore, we are not a first-come-first-serve rescue. All of our foster dogs are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary, based on the age, breed and temperament of the pet.
