Hogan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hogan's Story...
Hogan was put into a high kill shelter after his owner had a stroke and ultimately progressed into a coma. It is a sad situation for all involved.
He is 2 to 3 years in age, 45 pounds, short, stalky and sort of a smaller Staffy. He is good with dogs as long as they are not mean to him, good with cats, kids and rabbits. Hogan is beautiful, almost solid white with a perfect heart nose. He is laid back for a young dog, house broken, micro chipped, neutered, fully vetted but he is HW positive as so many are. Pit Happens Rescue, Inc. is covering the cost to treat him.
Contact info for Hogan is Pit Happens Rescue Inc. on Facebook or PitHappensRescue@gmail.com. His current location, in foster, is Cookeville, TN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hogan, a Chattanooga American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
