Drools's Story...
We call this pretty girl Drools, because she drools a little when she gets excited. Poor girl was left behind with 19 other cats after their previous owner's house was condemned and she was put into a nursing home. You could tell she did love them by how sweet they all are but she did not have the means to spay or neuter them until it was too late and their were 20!
Now they all have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV.
These are pictures of Drools when she got her first bed -she was SO HAPPY! Imagine how happy she will be when she has her own home and person to love!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drools, a Bear Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bear, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bear.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bear already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bear breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bear paves the way for another one to be saved.
