Orchid's Story...
My name is Athena and I am about 2 years old. I was rescued from a scary shelter, but now I am on the hunt for the perfect family. My foster family says I love everyone including kids and dogs. I am an utter love bug and work to make my people in my life happy. Please consider making me your new best friend. Attached is our adoption contract found at lastdaydogs.com. In an effort to save more lives, LDD is allowing expedited adoptions for certain animals if applicants email required paperwork. You can bring your new family member home more quickly by emailing your current pets' vet records, a copy of your lease or landlord letter stating you are permitted to have pets, and photos of your home. Help us help you adopt more quickly! If you would like to donate it can be done at www.lastdaydogs.com, under the Donate area. Once you click Donate, you will be directed to a PayPal interface. You do not need a PayPal account to use the interface. There is a link at the bottom of the page that will allow you to check out without a PayPal account. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Orchid, a Charlotte Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
