Butter Cup is a funny little low-to-the-grown Basset Hound (maybe Corgi?) mix – her papers from the original rescue say she is mixed with a Labrador retriever, and I can believe it by her color and her look – other than her short little legs and pigeon toes!
She looks like a yellow lab on a basset hound body!
She is tan and white, with funny little cream-colored eyebrows – she couldn’t be cuter if you designed her yourself!
Butter Cup is a real lover – will follow you everywhere and love on you every chance she gets.
She is only a pup – maybe about 1 ½ to 2 years old – and is wonderfully well mannered, good natured, and mellow. You can see from her pictures how affectionate and loving she is.
She is full grown and weighs exactly 31 pounds.
Butter Cup is great with all other dogs, with children, and even with farm animals. However, because of the hound in her, she is not good with kitties – she won’t hurt a kitty, but with her, the chase is on…
Butter is active and playful, but she is content to hang out and be cute.
Of course, her adoption covers her spay, all of her shots, including her rabies and her bordatella inoculation.
Butter Cup is a very happy little girl. She’d be a great buddy for an active family.
She is house trained and crate trained, and sleeps all night through on her little couch in the bedroom. She also walks well on a leash – but she doesn’t need one – she’ll just want to be with you!
I am a firm believer in allowing potential adopters to have a “sleepover” with their new dog so you can see how she adapts in your own home and with your family.
