Rosco's Story...
Hi friends. My name is Rosco and I am a 2-year old Border Collie mix. I am a high-energy guy as you might expect from a Border Collie. I'm quite handsome too if I do say so myself.

I am looking for a family with an active lifestyle who will make sure I get the exercise and mental stimulation I need. I love to play tug and chase tennis balls! I mean who doesn't?!

My youth trainer is working with me to help me pass my Canine Good Citizen test.

I'm fairly new to POOCH so they're still learning about me. Please call the kennel at 503-981-9531, x243 to learn more about me or to schedule a time to meet me. Thanks! I hope to see you soon!

2-year old Rosco weighs 45.8 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosco, a Woodburn Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Woodburn, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Woodburn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodburn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodburn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodburn paves the way for another one to be saved.
