Misty loves people including kids. She would do better with older children because she could knock over smaller ones in her enthusiasm without meaning any harm. Misty would do best as an only dog, or with a male companion her own size. She is an alpha personality, so after a while, she tends to get bossy and picky with other females and small dogs.
Misty is an active dog who needs daily exercise or a large yard to explore. She would so best with an active owner/family. She has not been tested with cats.
Misty is a really wonderful dog and would make a great companion. She is leash trained and knows her basic obedience. She would make an excellent walking or running partner.
If you would like to meet Misty, please contact Painted Paws for Veterans. She is available for public adoption. That means that you do not need to be a Veteran to adopt her.
