Bentley's Story...
Hi My name is Bentley and I am an adorable 2 year old male male SHIHPOO which is a shihtzu and poodle mix weighing 15 pounds

I have a beautiful gray and white coat and I am very sweet and love people Once I know you its snuggles and kisses for you, as I am very affectionate and adorable and ii will be your best friend

However I do get startled by loud noises or strange people and can nip that person if they startle Especially men, and even more so if they have a uniform on I don't mean to do it, and my foster mom says she wishes she knows what was done to me when I was a baby that scares me.. I am fine as long as people come gently to me and give me a moment to show they are being nice to me

Once I know family I am absolutely fine For that reason although I love children best only with older children in household

Love other dogs and good with cats

Neutered with all up to date shots

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bentley, a Long Beach Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
