Sissy's Story...
Sissy is an adorable, petite, black and white kitty who is longing for a home she can call her own.  You see, Sissy never had a home of her own.  She was living the outside life until she was rescued.  Sissy had a very nice lady who took care of her but unfortunately could not bring her inside.  Her caretaker tried to find her a home but had no luck until the rescue agreed to take her in.  Sissy is now enjoying the stress free, inside life and is adjusting very well. She is on the shy side until she feels comfortable but her foster mom says she is very sweet and is going to be a wonderful companion for some lucky person.  Sissy is not a big fan of being held at the moment.  She has no problem being picked up but she will jump out of your arms quickly.  Her foster mom thinks that will change with time.  She enjoys the company of the other cats in her foster home and is learning that playtime is a lot of fun.  She is currently living with 3 small dogs, other cats and older children.  Sissy is about 2 1/2 years old ( born 8/15/2013), spayed, up to date on vaccinations and negative for FeLV and FIV. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Lenhartsville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lenhartsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Lenhartsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lenhartsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lenhartsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lenhartsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
