Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ziggy is a 3 year old, 13 lb terrier mix who was rescued from a high kill shelter. This sweet guy is very nervous around new people and takes a while to feel secure. He gets along well with other dogs and cats in the house, but he will try to chase cats on the street. He does well on his leash with a little encouragement. Ziggy needs a calm quiet household with no small children. Ziggy is new to us so we are helping him to come out of his shell. Here is how his foster describes him: This sweet guy was very nervous when we first got him, but now that he has spent a few weeks in a loving home, he is friendly with all new people and curious to play with other dogs (though when they try to sniff him, he gets scared and runs away). His fear manifests in crying and whining, never aggression. He loves long walks and exploring the sounds and smells. Ziggy has come out of his shell and loves to play. He is extremely well house-trained, but does not understand basic commands. With love and patience, this guy is going to make a great companion for some lucky person!
