Beans's Story...
Hi, I'm Beans and I'm looking for my forever home. GHP was quick to save me, my siblings, and my momma from the shelter before we could stay there for very long and get sick because we all know babies get sick at the shelter. We're all in a foster home now where we have our own room. I don't think there's anything better than playing with my siblings and running from one cat tree to another! I'll definitely need a playmate in my new home because I'm a very active boy. I like to snuggle with my foster momma too because she gives me kisses, rubbies, and tells me what a special boy I am! You can find an adoption application on GHP's website www.gahomelesspets.com. Please forward the completed application to adoptions@gahomelesspets.com for processing. Please hurry, I want to grow up in my own forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beans, a Smyrna Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Smyrna, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Smyrna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smyrna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smyrna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smyrna paves the way for another one to be saved.
