Lila's Story...
Lila is a beautiful seven month old spaniel papillon mix. She is a tripod but can now run and play like all other puppies. Lila was brought into a downtown vet clinic with a broken and severely infected leg and she almost died! She was hit by a car but her neglectful owners left her for weeks to suffer. They relinquished her to the vet office and they sadly had to remove her entire leg so she would live.
We rescued her and brought her into out foundation as soon as she was well enough. We are pleased to say that three months post surgery this is one happy and loving girl! And she can run just as fast as her best friend Bitsy, another spaniel pup of ours. We would like to place Lila in a home with Bitsy or where there is already another playful dog. She needs a non chaotic environment and we prefer owners that are not gone for eight hours. Lila is vaccinated spayed and update to date on shots and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lila, a Santa Monica Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon for sale in Santa Monica, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon puppy from a breeder in Santa Monica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Monica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Monica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Monica paves the way for another one to be saved.
