I’m Clifford the big red dog! But don’t worry, I’m not 25 feet tall like my cartoon brother… Actually I’m not really big at all, I only way 46 lbs. I get a long with other dogs, children and grown-ups just fine! I can be a little shy, but that doesn’t last long. I’m only 10 months old, and I’m still trying to find my place in this big ‘ol world… That’s all. I’m a super sweet young guy who is going to make a wonderful family pet. All I need is a little love and training and I’ll be on my way. That should be lot’s of fun ‘cause nothing makes me happier than making you happy! 10 months old- 46lbs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clifford, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
