Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jaguar is 9 weeks old. He was found living in the floorboard of a car in a towing company as a newborn. This little one was lucky enough to have been rescued by us.
This kitten did test positive for FIV (all that that means is that it may have a less than perfect immune system). They can be with other cats, with no risk of passing it to that cat, if there is no deep blood drawing biting going on between the two.
Also, when kittens are tested this young, that is not an accurate reading, since they still have the mothers antibodies. Usually in a couple of months they outgrow it. This kittens siblings that were bottlefed, versus this one that nursed from the mom, are already testing just a light positive.
This kitten is perfectly healthy, playful and adorable, and I hope that this FIV result this young should have no bearing on your decision to give it a wonderful home.
