My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ THE FULL BIO FOR ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS!

Sinatra is one of eight puppies from our "Valentine's Day Heartthrob" litter and was born on 1 Feb 2016. Their momma, Bardot, is a great gal, friendly, active and smart! She looks like a drop-eared German Shepherd dog, weighs in over 80lbs and the puppies all look like her or Newfoundland mixes. They will all definitely large adults! Bardot was pulled from the shelter pregnant and gave birth in one of our loving foster homes, so her puppies have been given the very best start in life. These puppies will do great in any home, including one with kids, cats and other dogs. Sinatra is not as outgoing as some of his siblings. He is very laid back and wants to be as close to people as he possibly can. Even if that means you tripping over him. He would do best with another confident dog to show him the ropes!!

We send our puppies out to their foster homes in pairs to continue proper dog etiquette and social skills on top of their foster families' guidance, structure and love. They are learning all about crate training, potty training, leash skills and basic manners, including sit. It will be on the new family to continue what we have started, as they are babies and still learning and will need time to adjust to their new family's schedule.

Sinatra is ready for preapproval! They will all be spayed and neutered in late April and will be ready to go home soon afterwards. Once approved, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $250 at the time of the home visit. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.

ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com. DO NOT USE THE PETFINDER/ADOPTAPET CONTACT/ADOPT BUTTONS--we are unable to monitor those--only submitted applications through our website will receive a response once approved. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 and do not consider an electric fence a form of confinement. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Thank you for your understanding!
