Karlee's Story...
My name is Karlee and there is something very personal that I would like to share with you. You see, this is a big step for me since I am a little shy and unsure of myself right now, but I have always been told that is best to be honest. So here we go... I have a condition, and it has to do with my heart. My heart is all filled with something called love, and I have no one to share it with. The only cure is finding a wonderful family to call my own. They tell me it shouldn't be difficult- finding a cure that is- since I am such a magnificent lady. I am young and beautiful and just full of potential. I may be very scared right now, but I am sweet as can be, housebroken and crate trained already. Doctors orders are; a nice loving family with older children 6+. Other pets would be ok as well. Plenty of TLC and adequate exercise everyday (hey I may be laid back but I am still a springer spaniel/border collie mix!)
1 year old-50lbs. My adoption fee is $160 and includes; spay, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ( Portland/MIlwaukie area) ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Karlee, a Portland English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie breeders who help with English Springer Spaniel/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
