CoCo is a 6 year old, 28# gorgeous girl whose coat feels like the softest velvet you have ever touched. We cannot say enough good things about her. Her household manners are excellent, she is house-trained, and she knows a ton of cues.
CoCo's dream is to be your constant shadow. She is more comfortable with women, but she will try to make friends with men. CoCo will sleep in a dog bed on the floor, but she much prefers to sleep with her human. She wants to be close and feel secure. She is not a fan of the crate, but that's okay because there isn't a reason to crate her. This girl LOVES to play fetch and will retrieve until exhaustion overwhelms her. She also LOVES squeaky toys.
CoCo requests to be an only dog. She might do okay with a low-key pooch who isn't interested in playing with her. She definitely does not like puppies. She also requests a home in which the humans are at least 13 years old. She would love a fenced in yard with a high fence (she can jump low ones) in which to run around like crazy. Her leash manners are a work in progress.
CoCo happily cuddles on the couch and adores belly and ear rubs. She needs a nurturing adopter to bring out the absolute best in her personality. CoCo has a detached retina and cataract in her left eye, but her other eye is perfect (except for being dry, which is treated with drops). The eye vet does not expect that CoCo's right eye will develop a cataract. CoCo now sees the eye vet every 6 months.
