If X marks the spot, Pixie's bullseye should pull you right in! She's almost completely white except for a splash of color on her ear and a tan bullseye on both her butt and her nose!
Pixie is a 2 year old Pit mix. Her mother was rescued near Lima, Ohio from a bad situation when she was pregnant, so Pixie was born into rescue. Unfortunately, the rescue that saved her mother does not do many adoptions, and this sweet, lovable girl sat, waiting for a new family, for 2 years without a home!
Finally, they decided to send both her and her mother.... and a couple other dogs.... to New Lease on Life so they could have a real chance at finding a home.
Pixie loves going on walks and can be a bit rambunctious, but it's all excitement. Now that the weather is warming up, she's having a great time. She's also fully crate trained.
You can meet Pixie Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm at the shelter.
