Hi there. My name is Zeke. I'm 2 years old and I weigh about 75 lbs.
I was seized by the pound from my owner because I was being abused. Charges were filed and my owner was found guilty.
I am super duper excited to be able to find a new, loving family now... A family that would never abuse me.
I am the most wonderful, happy, sweetest dog you could ever imagine meeting!
My tail wags nonstop and I am always happy to see you.
I do really hate the kennel environment. I have been here at the pound since the beginning of March, so I'm really hoping to find a new family soon. I really don't like being all alone in my kennel.
The girls here say they couldn't ask for a sweeter, more well behaved dog than me when I am in the office with them. I am very affectionate and I love to play, but as long as I get to run around to play and I get my walks a couple of times a day, I'm an excellent boy. When I'm in the office, I mostly just sleep.
I do appear to have been housebroken at one time or another, because as long as I get to potty before coming in to the office, I absolutely do not mess in the office.
I get along well with almost all of the other dogs I meet. There have only been a couple that I haven't gotten along with, and they were always the ones who "started something".
I can sometimes be a little too rough or overbearing when I play with the other dogs, but I'm not an aggressive dog by any means.
I will likely need to be crated when my family leaves me alone, or at least until I get adjusted to my new life.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER APRIL 21, 2016.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $120 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING, MICROCHIP AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
