Tom's Story...
Hi everybody. I have a rescued tabby that has FIV. I named him Tom. He has been neutered and is in very good health. He eats well, uses the litter box, and has not marked anything. He likes to play and will sit in your lap. He can't be with my other cats due to his condition and is being quarantined in my master bathroom. Because of school and caring for my elderly mother I never seem to have all the time I feel he deserves. He is solitary for most of the day. This is breaking my heart. I have been asking people that I meet to please help him have a forever home where he can run and play. Just maybe you are the answer to my daily prayer for his welfare. He can be quite the rowdy boy so I recommend he be in a home without children and other pets. Please let me know if you or someone you know have the room in your heart and home for this special baby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tom, a Parkton Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Parkton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Parkton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkton paves the way for another one to be saved.
