Katie-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated date of birth: 4/14
Katie is a very sweet kitty who was dumped out in the country. Her ear is tipped so most likely she was spayed through a feral cat program. Katie is not feral though. She is very sweet, loving, gentle and kind. It takes her a while to warm up to new people and new environments, but she is an absolute love and deserves a safe and loving home of her own. A kind citizen called us to help find her a loving home. We put her in as a British Shorthair breed because she has a short stocky build to her. Some people think she is plump, however she is not. That is just her build, kinda rolly poley. She is perfect just the way she is! Please contact Sheri if interested in Katie at eoerescue@yahoo.com or 925-667-8220. If you would like to fill out an application for your interest in Katie, please find our apps on our website at: www.eoerescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie-ADOPTED!, a Tracy British Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a British Shorthair for sale in Tracy, or seeking a British Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even British Shorthair breeders who help with British Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
