Meet Harry Pawter!!! He's a happy and curious dog. He loves watching me do laundry, vacuum or mow. He comes in for cuddles whenever we sit down, but is polite enough to keep off our laps. He's just starting to learn what toys are for. He had to watch Chase play fetch a few times before he'd pick up the ball. He knows 'Back' and 'Stay' and 'Clear the doorway' and 'Don't run out' He has learned 'Sit' for a treat and he's progressing on 'Easy' for taking a treat without snatching. All which is fantastic as he was a last call dog at a high kill animal shelter...and his little tool box of knowledge and exposure to any kind of life was small.
He loves to watch the neighbors as they do their weekend activities. His bark is infrequent and very soft for a dog this size. And SPEAKING of soft!!! ....wait til you get cuddle this smooth coated love dog. He hasn't had an accident in the house, which amazes me. I was sure that with another male living here he would be marking something, but it's just been the trees and bushes. He can wear the same harness as our 58 lb boxer mix, but he has more girth in his shoulders and thighs. If we had named him, I would have gone for Beefcake, especially with his beautiful white coat with light caramel spots and speckles! He has been tested with cats and did fine, but the cats were contained.
Someone needs a solid, lovable dog and Harry is ready to be their dog! Fence yard required. We are looking for an exceptional family for him!!!
