Lilly's Story...
Hello!! My name is Lilly and I am a lovely 8-year-old, blue female Weim! My former family ran out of time to spend with me, but the great folks at GLWR promised to help me find a new family that is looking for an awesome girl like me! Do not let my age fool you, I still have a lot of energy for walks or runs and I love to play fetch! So stock up on tennis balls if you are going to adopt me! I also love toys and will even entertain myself with them. I can free roam while you are gone, I am good with kids and other dogs. I know and obey basic commands and my foster mom says I am a super sweet girl! I am just looking for a family that will love me and give me lots of attention. Is that your family?? I am being fostered in Mishawaka, IN.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Grand Haven Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
