Angus's Story...
Hi, I'm Angus,

I'm a very friendly and playful shiny black kitten. I have short, shiny, sleek black hair and a tiny patch of white hairs on my chest. I was rescued with other kittens by a really nice lady who uses the same vet as RAIN. RAIN was able to take me in so that I can find a really good home. I love other cats and love to snuggle. I purr right when you start to touch me, I'm an "autopurr" kitty. I have fun at my foster home playing with other cats and have even gotten used to the two big dogs. I'm a really sweet guy who knows that black kitties are often overlooked, that's why my personality is just the best ever! I'm a solid sturdy boy and will probably be a big solid cat, even though I am tall and lean. I'm just solid.! I'm about 6 months old.

My foster mom would really like to know what people have against black kitties. I am such a love and such a sweet boy. Don't discriminate against me because I am a black kitten. I am such a friendly, outgoing fun loving boy! I love people and love other cats and do great with nice dogs, in fact, the two I live with give me kisses and I rub on them. It always takes so long for black cats to be adopted, it's weird, so I'm still waiting...(kr)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Sacramento Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
