Rosie didn’t have the best start to life. As a 16 week old kitten, she was traveling in a car that was in an accident and trapped in the car for 2 days. She bounced around to 4 different homes in the first 6 months of her life. One of these homes had large dogs which completely terrified her. Rosie has been through some trauma. She never socialized with cats from a young age and now turns into a bully whenever another cat is around.
Rosie is about 10 years old and current caretaker has had her for 9 years. There are other cats in the home but she takes great efforts to keep them separated so everyone is content. Unfortunately Rosie’s caretaker has had some health problems recently and it has become more difficult to take care of the cats at home. She feels Rosie would be happier in a home without cats and where she can receive more attention and care.
Rosie is very sweet and affectionate. She doesn’t seem to play much but this could be different in an environment where she’s not preoccupied with other cats. She would love to find a quiet, peaceful home where she can be the only pet and soak up all of your attention.
