Chiquita is a beautiful rust colored Chi-Weenie with expressive eyes and impressive ears. She has a very nice temperament. She enjoys car rides, loves walking and playing with other dogs. Another favorite pastime is cuddling with her foster mom. Because of her sweet nature, she would probably enjoy respectful children six years and up. Chiquita definitely enjoys being in the mix of things so no long hours alone for her. She also likes to play with toys.. working on fetching and dropping the ball. If you are looking for a good companion dog, she fits the bill.

We do our best to match families and dogs so everyone is pleased and the placement is permanent. We reserve the right to refuse an applicant if the home situation is incompatible with the needs of the rescue dog. Rescue is about doing our best for the dog. We do home and reference checks. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and are up to date with current vaccinations, before being placed in their forever homes.
