My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to meet the sweetest, quietest, most loving beagle you have ever seen? Then meet Doc! Doc is a mellow, loving cuddler of a dog who just needs a warm soft bed, 2 regular meals and nose scratches to be happy. He LOVES to have his nose scratched, and can even be a bit demanding about more when you stop. He will nuzzle up to any hand he sees.

Doc is mostly house trained. He is not the best at telling you when he needs to go out, but is getting much better at being patient, and only has the occasional accident. He can handle a long work day as long as he gets a good walk in the morning and again when you get home. He does great on a leash and harness, hardly pulling at all! He spends the days when no one is home and night time in the crate.

Doc is probably the quietest beagle you will ever meet. With 2 other dogs at his foster home, his foster family has probably only heard him bark once or twice the whole time he's been with them. He will whine a little in the crate at night if he can hear there are people still up and moving, but as soon as the house is quiet so is he.

Doc is excellent with other dogs, and really likes to play, but also is tolerant when the other dog is done. Both the other dogs at his foster home are older and don't like to play near as much as he does, but when they're done playing he just moves on. He is also great with kids, very tolerant and patient with the 5 year old boy that lives at his foster home.

If you're looking for a quiet loving addition to your family Doc is your boy!
