Agatha's Story...
This poor sweet old soul was found outside, covered in fleas, skin and bones, and hurt. We took her in and found a microchip, but found that her owner was in hospice care and could not take her back. Sweet Agatha is doing much better now - flea-free, lots of canned food (she has no teeth), and a nice heated cat mat in her bed to help her arthritis (from an old broken back injury) - which she can bring with her if you take her home. She's looking for a warm, soft place to land to live out the rest of her golden years. She's very sweet and loves to be petted - could she come live with you? Come see me at the cage free Colony Cats Adoption Center.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Agatha, a Columbus Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
