This beautiful little creature is Hugs, a petite torti that is just about a year old and eager to find out what life in a good home is all about. Hugs came to us when she was caught in a trap and up to that point, she probably spent her whole life outdoors, fending for herself. Those days are over and she is happy to be safe, fed, and taken care of. Hugs was quite shy when she arrived but once she got to know her caretakers, she relaxed quite a bit and put her trust in them. She now "hugs" them as soon as they pick her up and enjoys the attention that is showered upon her. Hugs is still shy with new people and it will take time to earn her trust. She will need a patient and understanding home without a lot of commotion, and where she can taker her time to settle in and adjust to living a safe, happy life. Hugs is definitely worth the effort. She doesn't seem to mind other cats and Hugs is ready to start life over in a good home with a family that will love her always. File#25946 2/2/16
