Guedo is loosing his home through no fault of his. His person is moving into a Section 8 Senior Living complex and they will only allow one pet. She has an elderly dog she is taking. With tears in her eyes she asked me to help her find a good indoor home for Guedo.
Guedo is a very easy going boy. He came into my home and within a few days was getting use to my other cats. He also lived with a small dog in his original home. Now he likes to be in the middle of things. He likes to sleep on my bed and supervise in the kitchen. He also enjoys my screened in outside patio.
Guedo is a happy cat and se is also healthy. Guedo is around 8 years old so he has many more years to be involved with his new family.
He has no bad habits, likes his cat tree and scratching post and uses litter box. He is neutered, microchipped for ID, negative for FeLV/FIV, current on shots, dewormed and flea free.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
