Suzy’s guardian sadly had to go into hospice care. A neighbor and family members had been feeding her at the empty house until we rescued her. Understandably, she was very scared at first, but her foster dad says she is incredibly sweet and nurturing. When her guardian became unwell and called 911, the paramedics had to remove his jeans and left them on the floor when they took him away. Suzy stayed in the spot where his jeans were and slept on them for weeks until they were eventually removed. When we rescued her, despite being fearful and confused she bonded with us quite quickly and seemed relieved and comforted to at last have some human contact and affection again. She appears to be a quiet, mellow dog. She seems to really like human contact. She has been through a very difficult time losing her guardian who she clearly loved and we want to help her now to feel loved again. We really believe that she is special and will be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. Please contact us if you would like to meet this incredibly sweet girl.
