Penny is a sweet and playful 2 year old pittie looking for a new home.  Her favorite things to do are play ball and cuddle up and give kisses to her humans!  Penny is looking for a family with no other pets, so she can be the princess!  She is unsure of little ones, so a family with teenage or older kids would be a perfect fit!   She has had some professional training and has the basics down, and she would love a home where she can continue to grow.  She really just needs someone who is willing to throw the tennis ball to her and laugh at her antics... and who is up for lots of cuddles of course!

About Cares4Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all vounteer, foster based rescue group, focusing primarily on street rescue and helping reduce the population of unwanted strays in Philadelphia. We are made up of primarily vet students, since broken, unwanted dogs and cats seem to find us, but are always thankful for the wonderful help we receive outside of the vet school community. We can only save as many animals as foster homes available to house them, so we are always on the look out for more foster homes to help us save the dogs and cats from the city streets.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees range from $50 to $250 depending on the animal and health status. Our adoption procedure requires an application, a meeting at the foster home, and a home visit as well as veterinary checks.
