My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BELLA is a 1 year, 3 month old spayed black female Lab who weighs 42 pounds. Bella was given up to the local shelter as they could not take care of her any more. She is 15 months old and a typical sweet, outgoing, energetic young girl. She is very loving and friendly. She will need the typical work on manners and can be mischievous and chew when not attended. More on Bella as we move her to a foster tomorrow! Bella is good on leash and a good rider. She is keeping her room clean at the vet and we were told she is house trained. She is good with other dogs. She is approved for kids 10+.

Update:: Miss Bella has been an outstanding houseguest. She is so very playful, friendly and outgoing. She loves to run in the yard and play with my son and other dogs. She is very full of energy and will need a family who will ensure she gets the puppy energy out on a daily basis. Once she gets out the energy she loves to lay on my back porch and enjoy the sun. She is learning how to walk on a leash and does pull quite a bit at first. She is crate trained, very food motivated and knows how to sit.

Update: Bella is settling in at her foster and doing well. She is a great rider. She needs a little work on leash as she pulls a lot but that is because she wants to go, go, go! She loves to run and play in the yard, but is not allowed to go all out for a few more days due to her spay. She is good with dogs of all sizes and genders so far and is doing well so far with the foster's son. She has been known to chew bedding when bored but so far has not been destructive at all other than destuffing a few dog toys. She is very sweet and outgoing and knows some basic commands. She is a petite girl and may do well in a town house or condo but ONLY if there is a yard for her to play in or the family is very active or home a lot in order to get her the exercise she needs as she is a VERY active young girl!
