Here's what the humans have to say about me:
There is a home in the works, but we will still take applications in case it doesn't work out.
This pretty cocker girl needs a calm home environment in an adult only home.
My name is Maggie. I am a 3 year old, blonde cocker spaniel girl. I am an owner give up. I lived in a home with multiple dogs and children who made me anxious and timid. I did ok with the older boy, but not the two younger kids. My owner baby gated me in the kitchen a lot or tied me up outside on the deck because I would chew on things.......possibly because I was just bored and/or lack of attention and love from any of the family members. My family told people they loved me, but
I'm not so sure they really did.
I am heartworm negative, updated on shots and vet needs. I am a nice cocker girl and will do best in an adult only home with a calm living environment. I will always need to be leash walked to do my business unless you have a securely fenced backyard area where I can get some exercise and explore. I am shy when I first meet you, but then I warm up quickly and will be a happy, friendly girl. I got along great with a nice black cocker boy here at the rescue, but he found a home and now I would like to find mine too. A calm home environment will be best for me. And, I might need your understanding and patience with certain issues.....Please give me a 2nd chance!
We already have a home in the works for this cocker girl. If the home does not work out,
you can send an email message to: larrydonnacarp@aol.com to say that you would be interested
in possibly adopting her. Our adoption fee is $300, and includes all of the vetting and care needs for this dog while at this rescue.
