If you are looking for a best buddy, PJ is your man! PJ is a 2-3 year old Beagle/Bassett mix. He is a handsome, healthy and happy boy. He's playful and affectionate, loves to go for walks and play outside, and loves to be near his people. He likes to play with other dogs, but it is not essential he be around them all the time. He is most curious about the family cat in his foster home, but is not aggressive. PJ sleeps in his bed all night, eats well, behaves nicely when left alone for several hours, and is super smart. He understands many commands and is very trainable. He is motivated by food. He's a beagle all the way, meaning he loves to sniff and entertains himself quite well sniffing around the yard. But, he's a very quiet boy. He very seldom barks or howls. PJ loves his foster family and very much wants to hang out close to where they are. He's always ready to go wherever they are going! PJ does not show any aggressive tendencies, is good around kids and adults, is good with other animals, and is just an all-around good guy!
