Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stop by Friendship for Scooter. Scooter's family were seniors like him and had to move to an assisted living facility. They were very sad that couldn't take him. Scoot is visually impaired and a little hard of hearing but a very sweet fellow. He gets along fine with cats and thinks he's a big dog when introduced to other dogs. He is usually fine with them after the initial introduction. Scooter enjoys treats and is still good with potty training. He will have an occasional accident at night because of his age. This sweetie pie deserves a chance. A shelter is no place for a senior...especially this super senior named Scooter.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
