Violet's Story...
Woof Woof. My name is Violet and I was found on a dirt track in Missouri. I came to Adopt A Pet with my sister, Lilly, along with the spring flowers. We are now living with our foster mum and her family, which include a 63 pound 16 month old dog-- whom we love to chase and play with-- 2 cats and 2 kids (one big, one small). I love having people around, especially kids! My foster mommy tells me I am gorgeous and super chill, and I am doing very well in my house training. I think I am a lab mix but I don't remember my mom or dad, so whoever adopts me has to be willing to take me as I am! I love to go on long walks, and want an active family to play with me. Because I am still a baby I need someone to stay home with me during the day, and take me to puppy school when I'm old enough. Please come and see me. Love Violet

PS. My adoption fee is $375 and it includes all my shots and other stuff: vet exam, distemper combo vaccination, bordetella vaccination, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heart worm preventative and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Mt. Prospect Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
